Our team is busy creating events that will help you meet people, make new friends, discover the local community and enjoy yourself; and help us raise funds for local needs and those of the Royal British Legion. You do not have to be a member of the RBL to participate, and you do not have to live here, visitors are most welcome.

Weekly Social

Every Tuesday there is a social gathering at the branch base; Ryder’s Bar in Duquesa Port. You are welcome to drop in and meet people, usually around 12:00 (Mid-day).

Monthly Quiz Night

This is not a University Challenge event, it’s fun time and you can even come away with a prize, even if your team did not win the quiz. If you are single, don’t worry, teams are made up on the night, and regular participants will be happy for you to join their team.

Other Events

Monthly Evening Dinners and other events are on specific dates and we normally need to know numbers, so you need to let us know in advance if you are coming.
